This section of my web is a sort of memorial to my grandmother, Gerda Isenberg, who died on June 11, 1997 at the age of 96. The main page has a poem that my father found, followed by some remarks that I made at her memorial service.

By the way, the ferns in the background are not California natives. They are, in fact, ferns in my garden in Connecticut.
